Warranty Information

All DOT Downlights carry a three (3) year warranty against defects in materials and/or workmanship. The warranty period commences from the date of delivery of the goods.

Any product found to be defective in materials or workmanship within a three (3) year period, must be returned to the supplier with details and proof of original purchase date. Details of any defect must be provided in writing. Any anticipated labour costs must first be submitted in writing and approved by the manufacturer prior to any remedial work being initiated.

This warranty becomes null and void if any component in the downlight has been altered or modified in any way. Also the downlight must have been installed and operated in accordance with local regulations and the manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions. Damage to the downlight by fire, water or similar will also revoke the warranty.

This warranty will not apply if the downlight or accessory has been used for other than the intended purpose or if the item has been subject to misuse, neglect or damage.
